Terugblik: Gewina-symposium 24 november 2024
Verwonderen
Op 24 november vond het Gewina-Najaarscongres plaats, waarop ook het 111-jarig jubileum werd gevierd. Locatie was het GUM in Gent, waar ook de Dag van de Wetenschap plaatsvond. Gewina organiseerde twee lezingen, twee workshops, een museum take-over en de uitreiking van de Gewina-Descartes-Huygens Scriptieprijs. Deze prijs ging naar Sjoerd Kompier voor zijn scriptie Preconditions of access to knowledge: The ‘colonial situation’ of Sjoerd Hofstra’s fieldwork among the Mende in Sierra Leone (1934-1936)
