First Descartes-Huygens Lecure: Harold Cook, 'The Scientific Revolution in The Netherlands: Moving About and Finding Things Out' (Utrecht, 5 juni 2008)

Professor Harold Cook, director of the Wellcome Trust Centre for the History of Medicine (University College London), is the first Visiting Fellow of the Descartes Centre for the History and Philosophy of the Sciences and Humanities.


Professor Cook will also be the first Descartes-Huygens lecturer. This lecture is an annual joint event organized by the Descartes Centre and The Huygens Institute (KNAW).


The Scientific Revolution in The Netherlands: Moving About and Finding Things Out
