Workshops
The Spring and Autumn meetings
Every year the Society organizes
two national scientific meetings of one day at different locations in the
country. At these meetings researchers present the results of their projects
and members discuss policy-matters of the Society. The discussions at these
meetings are lively and individual researchers can make contact and exchange
information. Usually the meetings are in Dutch.
In addition to the Spring and
Autumn meetings Gewina organizes workshops. Workshops take place on
initiative of the Executive Committee, but members of the Society can also
start workshops. These workshops, which are more informal than the
national meetings, are meant for ample discussions on specific themes and
are attended by members, visitors and experts. Members can ask the
Executive Committee to help them to organize a workshop.
